On Oct. 23rd at 6 p.m., the St. Cloud State Huskies (16-6) took on the UMary Marauders 4-17)

Set 1 was the easiest set to take for the Huskies, as the combination of service aces and the 4 kills from Brynn Panek would end up with St. Cloud State taking set 1 while also holding the Marauders to a negative .192 hitting percentage.

Set 2 was similar to set 1 as the Huskies stayed in the groove throughout set 2 and the Marauders continued to struggle to hit the ball efficiently. The Marauders will have a hard time getting through the blocks of Carlie Willis, Kinsey Mohwinkle, and Hannah Bruszkiewicz, who timed the strikes of the Marauders well, and with that defense and end taking set 2

In set 3, the Huskies were gliding smoothly to victory, but the Marauders would try their best to climb back to 21 points with the Huskies at 23 points after trailing 19 to 13. The game would end on a misstrike by the Marauders, Dani Highum, that would end up going out of bounds, sealing the victory for St. Cloud State
