Archived: Husky Baseball Adds Jacobs

Huskies baseball head coach Pat Dolan announced Thursday the signing of Maple Grove standout Brady Jacobs

Jacobs, a senior outfielder/third baseman, is batting .600 for the Crimson this season. He has played varsity baseball since he was in eighth grade.

"Brady is a very big signing for our program," Dolan said. "We think he is a (division one) type of talent who has the potential to become a middle of the order hitter for us in the future. He already has the college-ready size and strength and he just loves the game."

Jacobs also lettered for the Crimson football team as a three-year starter at quarterback. On the gridiron, Jacobs holds records for completions in a career, season and game.
