The St Cloud State Soccer team defeated Minnesota State-Moorhead 2-1 Sunday afternoon at Alex Nemzek Field in Moorhead. SCSU frosh Gabby Fleck scored the game’s first goal with an unassisted tally in the ninth minute of the first half.

Junior Kate Hanzlik capped the Huskies scoring with a goal in the 69^th minute. SCSU goaltender Julie Clifford had seven saves in the win.

The squad returned to their home pitch on Monday afternoon but lost 3-1 to Southwest Minnesota State. The Huskies are now 1-1-1 on the season and are back in action at UMD on Sunday.
