Archived: Hwy 10 Bridge Damage “Worse than Expected”

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says damage to the Highway 10 bridge caused by ice jams and flooding is more severe than they originally thought. Crews began repairing the bridge north of Little Falls over the weekend. Minnesota Department of Transportation spokeswoman Judy Jacobs says water levels around the bridge are still too high for crews to effectively assess the damage. She says a detour route is in place, and they will complete the repairs as quickly as possible.
