Do you know someone who is overdue in being recognized for their work in the Sauk Rapids community?

If so, the city is accepting nominations for the Sauk Rapids Outstanding Citizen for 2020. The nominating criteria is quite simple–any local citizen who has provided outstanding service to the community is eligible. This can include people active with civic or faith-based organizations, community groups or businesses. If someone is a leader in human service work in front of or behind the scenes can be recognized.

Adults of any age will be considered. You can learn more by stopping by the Sauk Rapids Government Center on Summit Avenue or on the city’s website.

The deadline to nominate an Outstanding Citizen is April 6th and there will be an awards reception on April 27th.
