Archived: KVSC News Team Enjoys Another Award Winning Year
This Friday, the KVSC news staff will venture to the Midwest Journalism Conference in Bloomington to accept five awards for stories it produced in 2009. Here is a list of our very talented winners:
Winners of 2009 Minnesota AP Broadcasters Awards, Radio Class I:
Spot and Hard News (1st Place): "Fargo Volunteers" by KVSC Assistant News Director Kevin Hurd.
Feature Story (1st Place): "Wide Snowplows," by KVSC News Director Chris Duffy.
Documentary/Investigative Story (1st Place) "Puppy Mill Investigation," by KVSC Assistant News Director David Iverson.
