St. Cloud State University’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Resource Center Director is leaving the campus. Heidi Aldes, who has been with the University more than five years, is leaving her position at the end of September for a position at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College.

During her time at SCSU she has helped the University create a more accepting environment and helped create the St. Cloud Pride Festival, which will take place this Saturday. A reception will be held for Aldes Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Atwood Memorial Center Theatre Lounge in appreciation for her work.
