School District 742 has announced that Talahi Community School, Clearview and Lincoln Elementary Schools will shift to distance learning until November 16th.

Clearview Elementary was planning to go back in-person on Wednesday, but due to multiple staff members and students in quarantine as a result of COVID positive status, symptoms, or exposure, they will remain in distance learning. 

District spokeswoman Tami DeLand says 18% of Clearview’s licensed staff, along with additional non-licensed staff and students, are currently in extended quarantine periods due to COVID positive cases, exposures, or symptoms. 

Talahi Community School has 15% and Lincoln has 16%.

Grab and Go meals can be picked up at any elementary school from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. or at scheduled neighborhood delivery stops. 

Parents who are essential workers and need childcare during these distance learning days may sign up at Boys and Girls Club Central Minnesota.
