The Weyerhaeuser Museum in Little Falls is closing temporarily.

Executive Director Mary Warner reports the Morrison County Historical Society is installing high-density mobile shelving in its Archives. The project will start the week of November 18. Warner says following the installation, museum staff will need several weeks to rehouse archival materials on the new shelving.

The museum will reopen January 2, 2020, with new seasonal hours. The museum will re-open Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

A grant from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund is supporting the shelving project.
