The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office was called to an accidental shooting in Clearwater Sunday just before 3 p.m .

The deputy found 43-year-old Kevin Matz treating a wound on his left arm he had received from a handgun. He had been cleaning his handgun when the gun fired. His wife called 9-1-1 on his behalf.Matz was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital.
