A St. Cloud man is in jail after allegedly robbing a Super America store.

St. Cloud Police were called to Super America on 15th Avenue Southeast at around 1:30 a.m. early Thursday. Officers established a perimeter and the Sauk Rapids Police K9 Unit helped track the suspect. 33-year-old David Wesley Ylitalo was found exiting a nearby apartment building and had items from the business as well as a black mask in his backpack.

After watching surveillance footage, police said Ylitalo had worn the mask while entering the business and stole $96 worth of food and tobacco items. Ylitalo is currently being held in Sherburne County Jail on charges of 3rd Degree Burglary.
