A St. Cloud man is in jail after allegedly assaulting six people at the St. Cloud Hospital. St. Cloud Police were called to the Hospital to assist hospital staff with 28-year-old Matthew Lee Sanders who police say assaulted multiple people Tuesday morning.

A police investigation found that Sanders had allegedly assaulted six people, two of which received injuries that require stiches along with broken teeth. The victims were identified as a hospital security officer, a patient and four hospital patient care staff.

Sanders was tased by hospital security officers in order to be taken into custody. He is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail where he is facing multiple charges, which include two counts of 3rd degree assault and four counts of 5th degree assault.
