A St. Cloud man is in jail after allegedly choking his girlfriend after an argument Tuesday. St. Cloud Police were called to the 300 block of 33rd Avenue North just before 10 p.m. for a domestic assault.

Police say that 43-year-old Raymond Leroy Wiley Jr. argued with his 24-year-old girlfriend before attempting to strangle her. Wiley is in custody and is facing charges of felony domestic assault and domestic assault by strangulation. The victim did not receive any injuries from the incident.
