A local man is in jail for allegedly placing a camera in a public bathroom. Deputies from the Benton County Sheriff’s Department along with the Rice Police Department arrested the suspect Monday.

24-year-old Joshua John Lavalle of Rice was wanted by the St. Cloud Police Department for placing a video camera in the common area bathroom of the Crossroads Mall on November 25th. A victim removed the camera from under a sink before contacting police.

Officials believe there are 8 victims on various video clips but the victims can’t be identified based on the camera’s location. Lavalle is currently being held in the Stearns County Jail awaiting a court date.
