A previously convicted felon from St. Cloud was arrested this week. Around 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday St. Cloud Police Department arrested 26-year-old Kelly John Meyer of St. Cloud. Meyer was arrested in a vehicle in the 500 block of 11th Avenue North for felony warrants. 

A police investigation found Meyer was also in possession of methamphetamine, synthetic narcotic controlled substance pills, a loaded 9 mm handgun, as well as 30 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Meyer is a convicted felon in Minnesota and is being held in Stearns County Jail on outstanding warrants as well as probable cause charges of felon in possession of a firearm, marijuana in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of felony 5th degree possession of controlled substances.
