A St. Cloud man was arrested early Sunday morning after police were called to the area of 16th Street South and 8th Avenue South for a report of a man damaging mailboxes.

An employee of GSSC Security identified the suspect when police arrived. According to a police report, 20-year-old Andrew Myles Dahlgren of St. Joseph resisted arrest and fled from police on foot, a short chase followed and he was arrested.

Dahlgren is being held for court at Stearns County Jail for gross misdemeanor criminal damage to property; gross misdemeanor obstructing the legal process; misdemeanor fleeing police on foot; and misdemeanor minor consumption.
