A North Dakota man is in jail after allegedly slamming his girlfriend’s head into a wall. It happened early Saturday morning at the Kelly Inn in downtown St. Cloud. Police say 32-year-old Edward Thomas Vanos Junior of West Fargo, North Dakota slammed his 26-year-old girlfriend’s head into a hallway wall causing her nose to bleed and swell. She refused medical treatment and police say she did not cooperate with officers when questioned. Due to the physical signs of injury and an eyewitness account, police arrested Vanos for domestic assault. He’s being held at the Stearns County Jail.
