St. Cloud Police are investigating an assault that occurred early Sunday morning. A 21-year-old man called police at 8 p.m. Sunday to report that he had been assaulted sometime around 2:15 a.m. earlier that day.

The man said the attack occurred at the 500 block of West St. Germain Street and described the suspect as a 22 to 23-year-old white man wearing a baseball hat. The victim received medical treatment for a broken tooth. Anyone who may have witnessed this assault is asked to contact the St. Cloud Police Department.
