A man is in jail after being arrested for drunk driving. St. Cloud Police were called to the 500 block of 9th Avenue North just after 4:30 a.m. Monday for report of a drunk driver. Officers found the vehicle as it was parking and identified 28-year-old Lamont Antoine Powells as the driver.

Powells, who has three prior DUI’s since July 2011, was arrested after failing the field sobriety tests. Powells also provided a breath test that showed an alcohol concentration of .15. He is currently being held at the Stearns County Jail for felony first degree DWI and felony first degree DWI .08 or more.
