An early Thursday morning police pursuit on St. Cloud’s north side led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man.  Police pursued a vehicle at 12:30 a.m. in the morning for about a mile, ending in the 11-hundrred block of 14th Street North.   The driver of the vehicle, Timothy Warren Dennis, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Stearns County Jail.  Dennis is facing D-W-I charges as well as fleeing a police officer and violation of driving restrictions related to alcohol.  He is being held for a court appearance.

Law enforcement agencies have increased their saturation patrols through New Year’s weekend looking for people driving under the influence.
