On Friday St. Cloud Police were dispatched to the Police Department to meet with a victim of an alleged assault at 12:45 a.m. According to the police report the assault had occurred at the 1800 block of St. Germain Street West.

The police investigation found that 32-year-old Kelijah Jarrod Walton from St. Cloud had assaulted his 33-year-old ex girlfriend from St. Cloud. The victim was tanken to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance where she received treatment for significant but non-life threatening injuries.

Walton was located near the police department due to prior convictions was arrested for 3rd Degree Felony Assault, Felony Domestic Assault and was also arrested for DWI. Walton is currently in the Stearns County jail and is being held for court.
