A man was found dead on Sunday in a semi-tractor in Avon Township. Stearns County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call shortly after 10 a.m. concerning a driver who hadn’t been contacted in several days and who had been overdue at his destination.

The driver was found at the westbound Avon rest stop and identified as 59-year-old Nick Tufaro of McDonough, Georgia. The body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner.
