A man was injured after his vehicle drove off the road and hit a tree Monday night. Stearns County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a one vehicle accident on County Road 1 in Brockway Township just after 6 p.m.

Deputies say that 26-year-old Zachary Ian Helgerson of Rice was driving northbound on County Road 1 when his vehicle left the road and hit a tree. Helgerson was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance. There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
