Man Riding His Bike Dies after Being Hit by Truck
A man died on Tuesday night after he was hit by a truck while riding his bike.
The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office says that 60-year-old Ronald Harvey Otremba was riding his bike on 150th Avenue Southeast in Santiago Township, about 10 miles north of Becker, when a pickup truck hit him. The driver of the truck was a 16-year-old girl whose name was not released.
The collision happened at around 6:55 P.m. and Otremba was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stopped after the collision and was cooperative with investigators.
Investigators think that Otremba was between the fog line and the center line of the road when he was hit, however the investigation remains ongoing.
