Mid Week Storm Brings Snow to Central Minnesota

A winter storm may affect your holiday travel plans this week.

St. Cloud State University Meteorology professor Bob Weisman says we can expect “shovelable’ snow starting late Tuesday into Wednesday. Weisman is predicting two to five inches from St. Cloud to Brainerd to Duluth.

He says the exact area to be hit by six inches of snow or more is not certain yet, but, that may affect southern Minnesota more.

Travel problems will begin Tuesday afternoon in the southern part of the state, then spread into our area and Wisconsin by Tuesday night. Weisman says we’ll experience very strong winds and low visibility.
