An Iowa resident is currently in Benton County Jail after allegedly committing domestic assault.

Saint Cloud Police say they were called to the 500 block of 15th Avenue Southeast at around 6:25 p.m. on Tuesday, where they were informed that 26-year-old Derek Rick Graybill of Waterloo, Iowa had allegedly assaulted the mother of his child.

According to police, when Graybill was confronted by a group of witnesses, he displayed a knife and threatened to kill them.

Graybill is currently in Benton County Jail on charges of 2nd degree assault, terroristic threat, and misdemeanor domestic assault.
