The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will be hosting an open house tomorrow (today) to discuss the Monticello Nuclear Generation Plants 2018 safety performance.

The open house will be held at the Monticello Community Center from 5-7 p.m. NRC employees that were responsible for the plants inspections will be at the event to discuss its overall performance.

At the end of the 2018 year, all inspection findings indicated that the Monticello Plants performance were given a green or of very low significance rating. As a result of this, the plant remains under normal oversight by the NRC.
