The Stearns County Sheriff’s office was called to a  motorcycle crash on Caldron Road in Maine Prairie Township Sunday night. 68-year-old Thomas Lampi of Annandale and his 65-year-old wife Dayle Lampi were riding on Caldron Road when they rounded a corner and the motorcycle tire slipped on a tar patch in the road that was softened by the sun. Lampi lost control and the motorcycle tipped over. 

Lampi and his wife were transported to the St. Cloud Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries by the Watkins Ambulance. Kimball Fire and Rescue assisted at the crash site.
