Deputies responded to a motorcycle crash in St. Augusta on Saturday afternoon.

52-year old Michael Skillingstad of Andover was heading northbound on County Road 136 along with 42-year-old Michael Havelak of Ramsey who was on the right side of Skillingstad while driving in the same direction. 

Skillingstad attempted to turn eastbound onto Country Road 115 while Havelak continued straight.

Both Skillingstad and Havelak crashed their motorcyles and were taken to St. Cloud Hospital for further medical treatment along with Skillingstad’s passenger, 56-year-old Kelly Laumann of Maple Grove.

Deputies say the drivers were not wearing helmets and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
