A motorcycle driver is in jail after allegedly attempting to flee police Wednesday night. 20-year-old Erik David Larson of St. Cloud was seen by police traveling on his motorcycle at 42 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone in the 2800 block of Clearwater Road. When St. Cloud Police attempted to stop him, officers say Larson sped up to 95 miles per hour attempting to elude officers before finally pulling over on 22nd Street South. He was arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail and is being charged with fleeing police in a motor vehicle, careless driving, and other offenses.
