A man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after hitting a deer on his motorcycle.

23-year-old Donovan Johnson of Sauk Rapids was riding his motorcycle heading west on Highway 95 when a deer jumped out and struck Johnson causing a crash.

He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was taken via Life Link air lift to St. Cloud Hospital.
