For the first time ever, weekday Northstar riders can travel between St. Cloud and Minneapolis in the middle of the day. The Northstar Commuter Rail’s “Fabulous Friday” service begins on Friday, October 29th and is in response to requests from commuters who get off work early on Fridays. The Friday midday link will make a round trip run between St. Cloud and Minneapolis, with seven available stops along the Northstar Corridor. The link will begin at 10:15 am at the St. Cloud Metro Bus Transit Center and will arrive in downtown Minneapolis at 12:45 pm. Folks coming from the cities can catch the link in Minneapolis at 1:00 pm as it makes its way back up to Big Lake. It costs $5 to make the full trip.
