November News Spins from Toronto to L.A.

November New Adds That Delight the Senses

The Seams – Meet The Seams: Debut album from this Toronto based 4-piece that shares members with other Toronto bands such as Fake Palms, WISH, Elsa, and U.S. Girls. They bring light, jangly, indie-psych tunes that can lift your spirits!

What’s new and notable in new music rotation you inquire my music amigo?

Lambchop – FLOTUS (For Love Often Turns Us Still): 12th full length release from this project led by Kurt Wagner. This album is a conscious sonic departure from their previous alt-country releases. Wagner’s vocals are pumped through vocal modulation and synthesized drums dominate as the main percussive force on this release. After 30 years of making music, Lambchop manages to stay fresh and reinvent their sound in a remarkable way.

Matt Pond PA – Winter Lives
: This Kingston, New York based band has returned with their 11th studio album. Let this album ease you into this seasonal change with glistening harmonies and melodies perfect for shorter/increasingly colder days.

What about New Recurrents?

Cosmonatus – A-OK!: These spacy, Los Angeles based garage rockers have come back with their 4th full length release. At points, they seem to channel artists such as Echo & The Bunnymen in vocal style as well as musical structure. The album, much like some teenagers, is quite moody at times but they also manage to include some upbeat energy.
