The national Occupy Wall Street movement has inspired many people to take action in their own communities—and St. Cloud is no exception. In solidarity with events across the nation, St. Cloud residents are coming together with the help of MoveOn.org to plan an event of their own.

Local organizers are targeting Wells Fargo Bank as part of the national “Day of Action” Saturday, November 5 in response to the thousands of bank customers who have pledged to move their money out of big banks and into smaller local banks and credit unions.

The event is open to the public and will begin at 10 a.m. in Atwood Mall at St. Cloud State University where there will be speakers until 11 a.m. Organizers will then move the event to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 400 1st Street South.
