A man was taken to jail late Friday night after officers responded to a call from a 35-year-old woman of St. Cloud who says she received threatening voice mails from her estranged husband, 38-year-old John Ryan Foss of Waite Park.

In the voice mails, Foss allegedly threatened to kill his estranged wife and new boyfriend. Foss had also reportedly made a gun gesture with his hand a few days prior and pointed it toward her.

Foss was located by Sauk Rapids Police Department and turned over to St. Cloud Police Department where he was taken to the Benton County Jail. Foss could be charged with domestic assault and two counts of terroristic threats. Neither victim suffered injuries.
