2.2 lbs of suspected marijuana have been removed from Saint Cloud thanks to the Saint Cloud Metro Gang Strike Force, Saint Cloud Drug Unit, and Saint Cloud Tactical Response Team.

Officers conducted a search warrant at around 7:00 Tuesday night at a home on the 100 block of 36th Avenue at around. Along with more than two pounds of marijuana, officers also seized $3,000 and arrested 24-year-old Matthew Schaefer of Saint Cloud.

Schaefer was arrested for 5th degree controlled substance possession, 5th degree controlled substance intent to distribute, and use of police scanner in commission of a felony. Schaefer was booked and released at the Stearns County Jail.
