Dan and Mark Barth, owners of Pioneer Place on Fifth are hosting a community-wide food drive to benefit the Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf.

From 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 30th, they will be accepting donations of non-perishable food or cash, and everyone will be treated to a hot cup of coffee for their efforts. Their goal is to fill their Veranda Porch with food. US bank is offering $2,500 in matching funds for all dollars raised that day.

March is known as Minnesota FoodShare Month, a time when the donations you make to Minnesota food shelves are needed more than usual.

Those not able to attend can also make donations to Catholic Charities at St. Cloud area US Bank locations, or online.
