A local group is announcing their support for the national Occupy Wall Street movement. Members of the group Pax Christi of Central Minnesota are in full support of the movement that began in Zuccotti Park in New York and has spread across the country and to other parts of the world.

The group says they are supporting Occupy Wall Street to raise opposition to all forms of economic and cultural oppression and domination. Pax Christi is a Christian organization with a focus on nonviolence.
