A St. Cloud woman is dead after being hit by a train.

St. Cloud Police were called to East Saint German Street at the railroad tracks around 12 a.m. Sunday. Upon officers’ arrival they made contact with a 37-year-old victim of St. Cloud who was breathing and had a pulse, but had suffered potentially life-threatening injuries.

A Gold Cross ambulance did transport the victim to the St. Cloud Hospital where shortly after she had passed away from her injuries. Police say the incident appears to be accidental.
