A person in a wheelchair is hurt after getting hit by a car Monday in St. Cloud. It happened just before noon near the St. Cloud Hospital, at the intersection of 15th Street North and 11th Avenue North. Police say 19-year-old Ashley Marie Gutknecht of St. Cloud failed to yield to the person in the wheelchair who was crossing the street. The driver was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian. The victim in the wheelchair sustained a possible broken leg.
