Road and utility work scheduled on several highways around Central Minnesota may affect your travel plans this week.

The Koch Pipeline Company is repairing pipeline near Highway 25, just south of Highway 23 and 25 Intersection and Norman Avenue in Foley.  The Minnesota Department of Transportation says they’re conducting repairs to the crude oil pipeline and requires the road to be fully closed. 

A detour will be posted on Highway 25, following a route to Benton County Road 66 and Benton County Road 51. The repair work should be completed by Friday.

MnDOT also says maintenance crews will be working on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 94 in the left lanes just east of Melrose. They’re working on the shoulders of the highway and work could last the entire week. Motorists should plan for a slow down along this section of the Interstate.
