A 23-year-old St. Joseph man was arrested early Wednesday morning for allegedly possessing a handgun into a St. Cloud bar. While doing a bar walk-through at Rumrunners on 6th Avenue South in St. Cloud, they learned that patron Timothy Joseph Dewane had a gun. As officers approached Dewane, they say the suspect took off, but was ultimately caught. Police eventually caught Dewane and gained control of the handgun. Dewane was brought to the Stearns County Jail where he was held on charges of handgun possession, drug possession, and fleeing an officer on foot.
