St. Cloud Police went to the 1400 block of East St. Germain for a reported sexual assault around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. A police investigation found that a 19-year-old St. Cloud woman had allegedly been sexually assaulted by a male acquaintance who left before the police arrived.

The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Abdimalik Hussein Daahir. Police arrested Daahir at his St. Cloud residence around 2:30 p.m. Saturday and is being held at the Benton County Jail on the charge of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct.
