An alleged assault took place Saturday between noon and 1:00 PM on the 20 block of 14th Avenue Northeast. Officers arrived at the Saint Cloud Hospital for the assault complaint later that night.  Police say a 20 year old Saint Cloud woman was assaulted by 23 year old Joshua Skaalerud of Saint Cloud. It was also reported he also threatened to kill the woman and would not allow her to leave his home. The suspect was later found and arrested for domestic assault, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment. He is being held in the Benton County Jail for court. The woman was treated in the hospital for minor injuries.
