St. Cloud Police were called to the 1300 block of 11th Avenue South for a knife complaint early Sunday morning.

A police investigation found that 23-year-old Cory David Homan of St. Cloud had allegedly strangled a 25-year-old St.Cloud woman. During the altercation, the woman used a knife to cut Homan’s arm that was around her neck in order to end the assault.

Homan received medical attention for minor injuries. He was taken to the Stearns County Jail and is being charged with felony domestic assault by strangulation.
