A St. Cloud man is in jail after police say he ran a red light and caused a crash while under the influence of drugs. It happened Sunday morning at the intersection of Veterans Drive and 25th Avenue in St. Cloud. Police say 24-year-old Jonathan Ortizdones was driving north on 25th Avenue and ran a red light. That’s when, police say, a 21-year-old woman driving west on Veterans crashed into his car. The woman was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Police say Ortizdones had just left the methadone clinic and was driving illegally under the influence of methadone, a controlled substance. He was arrested and is being held in the Stearns County Jail for a likely charge of criminal vehicular operation.
