St. Cloud Police are investigating a stabbing that occured Friday Morning. At 4:25 a.m. officers went to the St. Cloud Hospital at 1406 6th Avenue North in response to a stabbing.

Officers met with the victim a 26-year-old resident from St. Cloud who said he was walking to an after bar party in the 600 block of 3rd Street South where he says he was assaulted from behind by a group of two to six black men. The men were described as being in their early twenties ranging from 5 feet 5 inches to 6 feet tall and ranging from slender to medium builds.

During the altercation, the victim was stabbed on the back side of his left shoulder, which appear to be non-life threatening. Anyone with information is asked to contact Police at 320-251-1200.
