Archived: Police Make Felony Narcotics Arrest

A St. Cloud man is in jail after alleged possession and consumption of controlled substances.

Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle owned by 33-year-old Robert Henry Petterson of St. Cloud, for an alleged stop sign violation at around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday morning. A police investigation found Petterson had a meth pipe and 2.8 grams of methamphetamine including packaging. Petterson was also suspected to be under the influence of narcotics and was placed under arrest.

Petterson is currently in the Stearns County Jail on charges of 5th degree controlled substance possession, 3rd degree DWI, and 2nd degree DWI test refusal.
