On Sunday St. Cloud Police were called to the 800 block of 7th street South for a robbery that had occurred in the alley at 3:15 a.m.

The victim who was a 36-year-old man from St. Cloud was walking home when three to four unknown black men approached him and asked him for a lighter. When he turned away he was struck from behind and knocked to the ground.

The victim received non life-threatening minor injuries and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital. The suspects could only be described as four black men wearing hooded shirts with the hoods over their heads and left the scene in a small passenger car.
