St. Cloud Police were called to the 200 block of 2nd street Northeast for a domestic assault at 1 a.m. on Saturday the 25th.

Police say that a 27-year-old female St. Cloud resident had been assaulted by her boyfriend, 34-year-old Doyle Maurice Dent of St. Cloud. She was allegedly trying to get him out of her home and received minor injuries from the incident but refused medical attention when a Gold Cross Ambulance arrived.

Dent was arrested and is being held at the Benton County Jail for felony domestic assault due to prior convictions.
